Adorama's New Pricing

$5114 for the Creator Combo. I suppose they are calculating the Aug 1 tariff increase if a deal isn't done. $5114 would be $5510 with tax. That's almost $1700 more than my Korean deal. So happy I took the risk. The 10% off on ebay ends on the 30th. Those waiting on Adorama stock may want to rethink it.

You can buy a commercial grade cinelifter for that!! NO way would I pay that much for a Mavic. Sorry.

O.K. The cam and gimbal will cost you another 70,000 but the Drone by itself is around the 5-6 mark and you can chase F1 racing cars with it! all day!

That's exactly a 10% increase over the prior price of $4650. Glad I got mine when I did as well, as a bird in the hand from Adorama, no risk, and a DJI warranty, not that it will ever be needed, which is why I would have been OK with your deal, too.

I presume those that still have outstanding pre-orders with Adorama at the prior price of $4650 are still grandfathered into their $4650 price until fulfilled. This higher price is likely only for brand new pre-orders placed now, where Adorama's cost will be 10% higher.

Was it factory sealed? If so, do you know if there is any truth to some of the things that I have read that say there could potentially be issues after activating in the US? I have heard that, potentially, DJI could block features due to US activation, geo-fencing limitations wherein unlocking restricted zones may be harder, serial number being region blocked or flagged, and firmware update blocks. Is there any truth to this?

Yes, it's true that they could. But there's been no indication of it being done, just speculation and unfounded social media rumor. And why would they, anyway?
