This is probably a stupid android question, but here goes.
I’m travelling with my Mavic and DJI Smart Controller. I want to be able to connect the controller to the internet to get maps, but don’t want to download updates for it or the drone because internet is spotty and bandwidth is really limited. I know how to turn off auto updates is iOS, but have no idea how to do that on the smart controller and haven’t been able to find the setting.
Are auto updates even a thing on the smart controller? If so, how do I turn them off so I don’t get caught out needing to update my drone when I’m out of internet range?
I’m worried because I got caught once with my Phantom. Updated everything the night before, hiked out early the next morning, and discovered that overnight my iPad had auto updated the DJI Go app and wanted me to update the Pantom before it would fly, and I was hours away from the internet.
