Battery mod thread

We are up to 53 min! Getting closer to the 1 hour mark! I did this using one dji spark battery and one mavic pro battery.

Hello... may I ask you from my humble experience how can I relive a battery that has been drowned, been under(mountain stream)water for approx. 24 hours and successively dried, washed with deoxid, disassembled (top tabs, balancing wire, bcm separated) and put back together. Latest firmware.

I am thinking I should try the non DJI mode on my remaining two batteries, but I don't know where to begin.

I did it!!! I got 60min flight time!!! The pictures show wrong voltages because I flew without a bms. But when I landed and checked the batteries, I had one battery at 3.54volts across the cells and the other was 3.72volts across the cells. I probably could have gotten 70min!. I'm so excited. Next flight I will hopefully have a 3s magic board that shows the correct voltages. I will definitely screen record and put on YouTube.

It seems to me that for native rays, engines and propellers Mavic Mini the batteries you use are too heavy. Aren 't you afraid that engines could damaged or rays or propellers break? Or do you use other engines and propellers?

I use mavic air motors with mavic air master air screw props

Hi!
The DJI Mini has very soft propellers and it came to my mind the thought of replacing them with propellers from Parrot Anafi.
In one of your photos I saw propellers similar to Parrot Anafi. Everything is right? If this is true, answer a few questions:
1) What is the flight time on Anafi propellers compared to native ones.
2) Do Anafi screws have the same thread diameter as native screws?

Unfortunately, changing the propeller to Parrot Anafi alone did not increase flight time. To make matters worse, the propeller came into contact with the body and was damaged during hard braking in S mode.

What screws are you using? How much up and down slop is there?

61 min on 2s2p mavic air motors, with master air screw props.

It is a pity, it is a very pity. I was very much hoping for an increase in flight time. In addition, Anafi blades are less susceptible to deformation. Thank you for the experiment.
Tell me how has the noise level and frequency changed?

If you use parrot anafi props, it is best to use the screws that come with the anafi props.
Unfortunately this requires you to tap new threads into the stock motors.. if you plan on doing this, be sure to have a can of duster or compressed air to blow out any metal shavings that occur from attempting this procedure.
If you decide to tap your own threads in, make sure not to go to far or you will damage motor windings.
I guarantee if you perform the prop swap this way, you will not have any problems with the props sticking the mini.

Well after my 73min flight my magic board quit working. So here is my new one... Will test today and see if it survives a few batteries...

Awesome thread!!

Does anyone know of a reliable, turnkey solution for adding ~10 mins of flight time to their MM? Thanks.
