Camera Commands for the Mavic Air 2

There is nothing wrong, it's how every camera works, with a 18% grey reference.
When you're in manual the EV you see is "how far off what auto would have chosen", that's it. You can't set compensation if you set all parameters manually, it's obviously not possible to compensate and not compensate simultaneously.

You want to be in manual if your goal is even exposure on the entire area, obviously some shots will be darker than others, because some subjects will be darker than others.

Again, I have discovered that in exposure locked PRO mode, the reported EV value is a METERING report, not an adjustment. It reports what the camera would have done as an exposure adjustment had the lock not been ON.

Think back to old manual cameras with exposure meters; you reference the meter then adjust shutter or aperture to make the exposure read 0.

I don't see you set color to fixed temp (white balance). In your proof contact sheet, the slight exposure changes may be related to color shift.

But - you are correct in that I don't use DroneLink. I am working from the vagarities of the basic MA2 camera and settings available. So I'll step out of the thread.
