Can i use controller MR1SS5 except MR1SD25?

Hi, i bought my MM 1 in Europe, i have controller model MR1SD25, and as you all know, this controller has a very weak signal especially for Europe. I would like to buy a MR1SS5 and pair it with my Mavic Mini, the question is that my MM will work with this controller? of i just lose my money. If this post is in wrong place then sorry for that, and i also didn't found any similar topic.

As far as I know the MR1SS5 controller will NOT work with a drone intended to be used with the MR1SD25 controller so you wouldbe wasting money buying one.

AFAIK the aircraft is also different so changing the remote wouldn't do much.

Ok thanks for advice, next time i buy DJI drone it will be out of europe. If someone have spare Mavic mini to sell … ?

The other DJI drones don't have region-specific versions, it's only that one where it mattered
