First drone. DJI Air 3S. I'm retired living lakeside in the Greater Ottawa Region.
License is Basic. Drone registered with TC with cert # on the drone.
First test flight went well. Max altitude 120 m AGL. Max speed 75 kph in Sport.
Lots of fun. Take-off and landing on deck. Piloting from the upstairs office.

theres nothing like getting straight down to it ,no gentle flights to start off with then

Beautiful surroundings, comfy office chair - you got it made! Nice shot! Pretty good for 124 years old! 🤣🤣
Tks. LOL. I've been retired for awhile. DOB changed.

Welcome to the Forum , this is very similar to my set up from the deck over the river.

Gear to fly our Air 3s In the Rain and land on the Water.
Wow. Should have known that prior to buying the 2 year DJI insurance plan.
Well, that's why I'm here.

My thoughts exactly. First night flight. What a machine!

I'm impressed so much so far that I just dropped another couple of hundreds a few minutes ago for a Neo which is compatible with the RC2 remote that came with the Air3S Fly more pkg. I'm going on a family cruise in December and the Neo may be a thing having.

Pictures of fish from the pond please!
It's primarily a Bass lake. It also has decent size Pikes and Lake Trouts deep in the lake's 80'~110' area.
