Have flown drones of various types and sizes since the ones you put together yourself, with Arduinos inside them and cobbled together cameras (without gimbal), diy tracking for when they got lost.. you get the picture.

Moved up to the phantom and inspire series but then moved from the rural area where I could fly them whenever and wherever I wanted, to the city so got out of drones altogether in 2016.

I bought a Mavic Mini to get back into this hobby but after 3 days I realised I should have sprung for the Mavic Air 2, so I took it back and pulled the pin on the MA2.

Only one flight since I got it and that was yesterday. It was amazing - smooth, high quality video feed, just a feeling of confidence in the hardware and software that I haven't experienced before.

I am looking forward to interacting with you all and enjoying all that this amazing little drone can do!

Welcome to our forum, from Hauptmann in North Texas!

The MA2 is a great machine with a great camera. Lots of cool stuff to shoot in your SA.

Read the manual (link below), and be conservative at first. Practice using "Find My Drone". Don't wait until you lose your MA2 before you try to learn how to find it. We have over 100,000 members worldwide to help you advance as a pilot and photographer. Ask for help when you need it. Share your work when you can.

Thanks for joining!
