Thanks. It was a longshot -- finding someone with a drone and a dog in Marina Del Rey. I thought there was an outside chance that he was the guy controlling the one above my boat.

As it happens, I've been ALMOST using my own drone to photograph the boat for a month now. But wind conditions haven't been enough to get me to where I can legally fly it (still with a flight plan filed). Whoever was photographing me was doing so against regulations, which I don't care about at all. I'd just like to be able to see the footage.

Marina Del Rey Resident and new Mavic Air 2 owner here. I see that the "max permissible altitude" is 0 ft. Do any of you have success getting authorization to fly around here? Would appreciate any insight. Thanks!
