hi every one , among annoying features that are even more risky than safe is the low battery forced landing, am used to modify it through parameters but this modification is a story of its own rarely are the parameters explained and how modifying them will out put, to get to the topic i hope some one shares how to if possible prevent forced landing due to critical low battery on the air3 , mentioning please what parameters to modify to what values and why if possible

Why not take a more responsible approach and land before the battery reaches a critically low level?

Flying until your drone drops out of the sky is far riskier than a controlled landing, which at least ensures it reaches the ground safely.

I mentioned that forced landing is more of a risk in some cases since some pilots dont understand that even though forced landing once kicked in cannot be canceled but still increasing throttle will still get the drone up and it may still fly, but i once saw a friend who happened to have reached critical battery forced landing and he just left the sticks and his drone landed on the high way!!!! yes the warnings are necessary but leaving the pilot to control the drone to the last juice in the battery is more safe than saving the battery!!!!

i recall that in parameters of air 3 i saw a parameter :
g_config.voltage2.user_set_smart _bat
with default value =2 but can be set to zero or 1 what does this parameter stand for and what does those values stand for , if some one may help please

That sounds even more dangerous, especially considering your example of a pilot who isn't fully familiar with operating the drone. Perhaps additional training could help prevent such a forced landing scenario from occurring in the first place.

It's not saving the battery, it's saving the battery and aircraft, cause when the battery is empty for real it shuts off and the aircraft drops like a rock.
There is no reason you should ever still be in the air to even reach the forced landing level.

am not reckless and irresponsible to fly to that level , i plan my flights to always return with 30% bat, but in some cases conditions like wind etc may let u reach the critical level of 10% and the drone goes to force land in water , high way.... and added to that drones like the dji fpv or avata or others the forced landing will happen with suppose speed of 2 or 3 m/s but suppose ur at altitude u can manage to go back faster without the forced landing..

The situations you describe are all things that the drone flyer needs to be conscious of and fly accordingly.

Please land the drone before the battery level hits zero. We don't need an excuse for more legislation because some innocent bystander took a drone hit to the head from it dropping like a rock out of the sky.

You can turn a Lipo into a ball of flames trying to squeeze the last bit of power out of it!!-- not to mention discharging your LiPo batteries below the 12 percent mark DESTROYS your lipos.
If you wanna risk turning your drone into a roman candle and be the DJI Battery salespersons Favorite customer....Go for it I suppose.
