You can use GoogleEarth Pro (free), to import FAA Raster Charts as a geo-tiff. This will allow you to put in waypoints directly into GoogleEarth and see the elevation at the same time while overlaying them on the VFR chart.

Then use a procedure similar to this to import them into GE:

After loading the file, you are going to have to do the “GoogleEarthSuperOverlay” function and then once you are finished, you’re going to be able to see the Lat, Longs and elevation and use any of the other GoogleEarth functions and tools on the VFR map, including making KML waypoint files for export into Litchi, etc.
Yup, Salton Sea where my cursor lays (near the bottom right corner of the VFR chart) is one of those places where you can fly your drone below sea level and not drown it!
