Not familiar with Drone Cover Club, but if you're just looking for theft cover, check with your home insurer first. You might be able to add it to your home & contents policy just by providing the model and serial, which should also cover you if someone steals if from your car. They probably won't cover you from flyaways/crashes though, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
If you're actually looking for "operational cover" for flyaways/crashes and/or legal indemnity/liability cover if you accidentally damage persons or property, then you'll need a more specialist insurer, e.g. Drone Cover Club. Especially for the legal/indemnity side of things there unfortunately doesn't seem to be a great deal of choice in the UK at present unless you are prepared to pay for the privilege...
Hi, just wondering if there is any uk based insurance that will fully cover the mp2, even if you have ‘accidentally’ gone over the legal height during the flight when it’s lost/ damaged as I’ve heard companies won’t pay out once they see this on your flight log. Many thanks for any responses
