Mavic 4 Pro - 4G Dongle with RC2

It appears to be 25% more in weight compared to the original battery (~339 grams). So that's only 83 grams. Well within the payload capacity. If it ads 10 extra minutes to the maximum flight time that's about 20% and add a bit more for the plastic and stuff. I mean if you want to fly for an hour with enhanced transmission that's an option. Perhaps you would've come back with plenty of battery left and no stress as long as you thoroughly tested it first.
I get your point.

But, let's be realistic.

Real world, you'll get 50mins from that type of battery. Similar to the standard M4P battery, 40mims in the real world, instead of the quoted 51mins.

Is the extra 10mins worth the extra £100 - £150? Not really, when I can get another brand new genuine M4P battery for that money.

Do you need to use the modded DT DJI FLY app in the USA to use the Mavic 4 Pro with the Enhanced transmission?

I'm going to guess not because it's already in FCC here but I don't know for sure yet
I don’t think we can use the enhanced transmission module in the USA at all.

Man, that sucks...obviously for most people FCC will be sufficient, but once you've gone 4G transmission, it's whole different ball game.

I'm not saying it's 100% perfect, as sometimes there are signal blackspots, which will result in complete signalling loss, and an automatic RTH.

Naturally, I sold it, and bought the Mavic 4 Pro, and told the Mrs that it was "only an extra £100" 😄.
No worries; I apparently paid only $400 for my A3S Fly More Combo plus a wide angle lens, chargers. ND filters, 5 batteries etc. and a few months later, mysteriously, a Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combol plus ND filters , batteries etc. appeared in my collection, I mean all drones look similar, who's to question if I'm flying an A3S or Mavic 4 Pro.
Most things here suddenly appear out of nowhere 'oh I had it storage'; some things I can't dispute when I needed to replace my aging Ford SUV and wanted to purchase a new truck, had her on board with the idea of something like a Toyota truck for around 80k then instead ordered a GMC 2500HD AT4X AEV Edition, paid 10k over ask and she was there when I picked it up for 129K out the door but not including a hard tonneau cover, new snow tires, dashcam, winch plus a million other things that now add up to over $155k. Hey I love that truck because I can fit my 2 meter RC pattern plane fueslages in the back. What annoyed her most was my choice of a truck was based purely on a need to fit my RC plane fuselages in the bed, the GMC has an 82" bed :) She hates it, curses every time, its too high for her to easily get in/out on the rare occasion she travels in it.
