Mavic Air 2 remote ID

So I got this from DJI support online chat when asking about update for Mavic Air 2 remote ID.

Thank you for your feedback. According to the FAR Part 89 Remote ID regulations, the RID compliance for American users starts from September 16, 2023. Before that, the FAA RID regulation does not affect the user’s flight activity. DJI will conduct an evaluation and prepare appropriate plans for different aircraft after the RID technical standards and MOC recognized by FAA are issued.

I was on chat with DJI and they told me that it will be RID compliant by December 31st. That's great butafter the FAA announcement yesterday it gives us a month and a half that we could be hanging in the wind. I hope the update comes soon.

Your Air2 has an update v01.01.1600!

Just finished the RID update! Make sure your drone has nearly a full battery, the file is over 170MB, and if you have a slow internet connection, it takes a while to download and install.
