Mavic air 2 switch to FCC mode using an android app

Hi I used the hack perfectly on my mini 3 but it wouldn't let me use pano shots etc so I updated and now the hack won't work!!! Is there a work around yet?? Cheers

Now, the question remains, can anyone tell me if it is safe to upgrade the Aircraft Firmware and still be able to use the FCC hack? DJI Fly app keeps pestering me to update my Mini 2 SE firmware, but I am very afraid that they may have patched this.

I'm planning on buying a tablet with the Snapdragon 8 gen 2
I hope they fixed it already

the mavic air 2s hack works on s23 but it doesnt work on the latest firmware version of the drone (01.00.0600).
I dont know if someone uses the 01.00.0500 version can use the app as i had a replacement of the drone and got it on the latest version.
Can someone tell us if it works on 01.00.0500??
(the drone is the mini 3 pro!)

It is unbelievable how **** the range is without the FCC hack........
I lost video transmission a couple of times just going like 50m behind a tree on CE.
Absolutely no problems when using the FCC hack.
This is so ******* horrible for people who have no idea bout the FCC hack and are forced to be on CE....

Mavic air app... 1.0.0.apk on android changes to FCC, plug in iPhone and it works until controller/drone restarts

After following all instructions to the letter, app says patch success, bit transmission graph your line remains at 1km (CE Mode) and not below 1km (FCC Mode). Any help would be appreciated. I think the 0600 updates on aircrafts have removed this ability... you might be fresh out of luck!

hi friends, i am new in drone world. I bought usage Mini 2. I make few flights with max distance 50m. Last flight i try higher distance about 300m above sea (good visual connection done and rc). And i had problem with lost connection few times at difference distance 80m, 150m 200m. I read about this problem after update fw 01.07.0200 on internet and i found this thread. i tried fcc app on mini 2. Firmware and fly app version:

Patch is completed succesfully.
Before patch

After patch

I think this is ok, and dron now in fcc mode? Am i right?

I have one question.
In the first time, i didn't see well line position and i think patch didn't do anything because i read here patch don't work on FW 01.07.0200.

After that i downgrade FW with Assistent 2 to 01.06.0200 (RC FW and Fly app version was not downgraded, they remained the same like on the first picture) and i try patch again and patch also work


Now i have a dilemma and my question is what is better:
Should i leave FW version 01.06.0200 or update to 01.07.0200? Which is better and much stabile?

I am little confused because i don't know does patch really work on FW 01.07.0200 or just change connection line position? I can't test because how i tell before i fly just few times.

Also i see one bug on version 01.06.0200. Mini 2 distant 30 cm from RC on photo, but in fly app distance is 2 meters.


All this scares me, because im new in this and i fly above sea. I am afrai that potential error with this settings might cause the drone to crash into the sea. And this is game over for me.

I hope someone who have experince give me a good advice ASAP. THANKS.

I have the same setup only thing that is different is that my phone is a huawei p10 and it wont work it cant find the remote tested with 2 cables.

I used the original USB-C to USB-C cable that came with the DJI Mini 2 SE Fly More Combo. Otherwise, not sure how else I can help.

I am micro usb i did just try a USB-C adapter extension with my original data cable from my mobile also did not work am i missing something? i dont see any logic in the different experiences. I will not give up yet tomorrow i will search again. ty for replying

Well all I can say Is this hack made me throw the garbage dji RC with screen In cupboard....

Got out the DJI RCN1...FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS, applied patch ONCE...and It Is 100% permanent.

See post #212 on this thread.... It used to work, sequence important, provided you don't update firmwares later. Not sure if DJI stopped this in later copies of the firmware.
