Mavic air 2 switch to FCC mode using an android app

Hello All,
I have created an android app which allows switching from CE to FCC mode .

APK is attached , usage (currently need to use bottom type C port for patch only):
1.connect mavic air 2 controller bottom type C cable to your android device , turn on the controller .
2.run my application and press the patch button .
3.change your phone usb connection to normal top one.
4.then open DJI fly app normally and you can obsereve the change in the transmission tab .
Link to the apk
Hi, thanks, but the link is not working now =(

The App does not work with the RC-N2 anymore. Just tested it. But there must be a way to get it to work, because you can buy it as a "hack".... Maybe the creator of the app could look in to it?

Can anyone post the apk again??
The link doesnt work anymore.
I changed my phone and now i cant download it anymore....the link is dead

Guys today I received a new phone with usb-c and guess what it works fine now, it successfully patched. It should still work with latest updates/firmware you just need USB-C.

Hi, I am a newbie here and considering to buy a mini3(not pro) with rc-n1. After read through this thread, I'm still very confused. Does this app still work for the mini3(not pro) and rc-n1 with latest firmware?
Aircraft Firmware: v01.00.0300
DJI RC-N1 Firmware: v04.16.040
(From DJI release note)

Thank in advance.

Thanks to Roberson Ricardo above for what follows below:

Ok, I did this, and it works.... But I suspect that the sequence is important. This is what I did:

1. Mine is a Mini 2 and it was on firmware 01.06.0200 with RC-N1 firmware 4.11.02 and DjiFly 1.9.4
2. I first upgraded DjiFly to 1.10.0
3. Then started drone and remote control. Ensured connection with drone and full GPS coverage.
4. Then unplug cable from top of RC, replug into bottom port on RC and ran Galbb patch.
5. Replug cable to top RC port and check Transmission Tab in DjiFly for FCC.
6. Then only go to About Tab in DjiFly and check for aircraft firmware update in the About Tab. Do the update to 1.07.0200.
7. Check and confirm that craft is still in FCC mode.
You can now switch off Mini 2 and RC-N1 RC, change craft battery, etc.....

And when you again power on the craft and remote, you'll see that the Mini 2 now is permanently in FCC mode. I have no idea how to now go back to CE mode, not that I would ever want to.

This is a complete game changer.... and I will now gladly stay on this combination of firmwares and Fly App.

Please comment if this works for you as well.

I just did what was listed here, but with the following differences for my mini 2
App version: v1.12.3 latest as of 18-12-2023
RC-N1 : v04.11.02
Firmware: v01.06.02

I did the following steps described above in a similar way:
1. Started drone and remote control. Ensured connection with drone and full GPS coverage. Then connect phone
2. Unplug cable from top of RC, replug into bottom port on RC and ran Galbb patch.
3. Replug cable to top RC port and check Transmission Tab in DjiFly for FCC.
4. Then only go to About Tab in DjiFly and check for aircraft firmware update in the About Tab. Do the update to 1.07.0200 + I updated the dji rc to v04.11.04 as the firmware update could be done only with the rc update included
5. Check and confirm that craft is still in FCC mode.

So after update FCC mode still appears in the transmition table and i got the RC to v4.11.04
Previously I have tried to apply the patch but when changing battery it required appling it again, but doing the update while the fcc patch was applied seems like to make it a permanent fix.
The drone and rc weren't downgraded from a higher version, starting version was the one stated above
So I think it only depends on the drone firmware, not rc or app
Hope this post helps the community

Good day is the link to the apk still available?

Ciao a tutti,

Collegamento all'apk
Ciao puoi fornire un link funzionante per la tua apk molto interessante? grazie

Thanks a lot, it works, I updated mni2 se while patch was activated and now I've got pernament fcc mode.

Hi, I have Mini 2 SE with drone firmware updated to 01.00.0410 and RC-N1 04.11.0400. Is there any chance to do free pernament patch or is it possible to downgrade firmware to 0360? Any advices? Thanks in advantage.
