Sometimes the best lesson is learnt from our mistakes, but with drones, that could potentially be a disaster and an expensive exercise.
A recent trip in the mountains almost ended in a disaster, and was caused by my inexperience and lack of Internet access. It just goes to show that you really need to understand what you need to do as a pre flight check, and understanding the information the apps are showing you (Litchi App).
I hope this will alert similar novice pilots to the perils of launching a Litchi Mission without the correct preparation and checking, and to avoid taking chances with your drone if you haven't checked your flight plan.
