New to hobby, broken drone and need some pointers 🤞

Hello yall! Brand new to the page and the hobby I decided to purchase a drone from Facebook marketplace and was unfortunately sold a drone that has two broken arms. (They won’t lock into place when extended all the way) pictures will show what part looks to be snapped, was hoping for some guidance on what to purchase and replace. I ended up taking the cover off to compare the other side and see that there’s clearly something wrong.

Well that’s too bad. I hope I am not uncovering another issue but have you created an account in Dji fly and been able to bind the drone? I hope so.
I would suggest you call DJI Support and see what they offer.

First, Is this Your first Drone repair? Can you solder? Are you willing to learn? You will need a few tools.... Are you willing to buy those for this one repair? If the legs are not broken in anyway, You just need the Shaft arm brackets BUT if there is any damage to the Arms.....Replace them..

Get your money back.
You don't need the hassle of getting it repaired and who knows what other issues the seller might have not disclosed.

I’m pretty handy and can solder. But yes first drone repair

WOW! That's really been hacked about by someone who hasn't got the faintest idea what they're doing. Because of the Sweeney Todd surgery, I think the chances are that you'll have to replace the middle frame as well.

As already mentioned: I'd also try to link the drone to your personal DJI account, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't already tied to another user, or blacklisted by DJI as a 'lost' drone.
