I always thought it must have been a btitche getting that shot.

anyway weve the same jeep, are going bush soon and are going to try and recreate it for yuks

'this' refers to opening scene, per the title thread.

2013 remake of Evil Dead there is a great Aerial opening scene after the basement prologue.

I'm trying to get people who have seen the movie's, opinion on wether they think it was shot with drone or Helicopter

im fairly sure it was made with a drone, but could have been made with a helicopter.
Im trying to get people who have seen the movie's opinion.

Definitely could be a drone. The tight rotating part just above the trees would need a gimbal that turns w/o turning the drone. (Or a really sharp operator).

OTOH, "H'wood" film makers (even of the B type here) have never been shy about getting helicopter filming specialists for such establishment shots).

Haven't seen it even once. Probably why my name isn't "dude".

In the original movie, a lot of the forest shots were done with a "shaky cam," camera taped to the center of a 2x4 and held by two camera men because they could not afford a dolly. Pretty good effect.

I think a Helicopter if it was 2013, probably a year or so before drones were used.
