When I remove my iPhone 7 from the remote control grip, the supplied lightening connector is very tight in the phone and it pulls out of the little rectangle clip on the arm.

Just worried not to put too much stress on cable.

Is there a trick to remove the connector ?

thanks

Mine does that too. Not too sure about a solution, it is in an awkward area.

I tried grabbing the rectangle bit before pulling phone out but cant get a grip on it.

Yeah, I just kinda wiggle it back and forth.

The phone, I pop it out of the right side first and then wiggle it out of the left side with the cable, it only works a small fraction of the time but I have no other solution other than it does loosen over time.

I took that rectangular thingy out completely. Easier to put the connector in and I don't worry about it falling out. (IPhone)

^ Exactly... It's much easier to get the phone in and out, without the rectangular thingy.

Same happens with my S7 Edge.
I guess this is a common issue of most phones.
