Rome In A Day

Rome is one of those cities everybody should visit. When we were in Florence, Italy we decided to do a day trip on the train to Rome. Glad we did.

Looks like one of those "fun days" in Rome. We were there about a year ago, and the crowds were oppressive. Couldn't even get to the edge of the Fountains of Trevi. What a mess. Best to go there or most popular places in Europe after school starts in Septemeber, but of course, you had school age kids so not that great of an idea. Nicely put together video.

We were there in September and it was still quite busy but better than in the Summer. Rome is so busy, everybody wants to see it.

Got my travel in through 54 countries pre 90s and the siege of the cruise ships. Glad my timing was right. Nice family Vid keeping calm in the hordes.

I was in Rome 40 years ago, this video gives me a good reason not to go back anymore, what a mess!

Sounds amazing. Ya Rome will always be busy.
