As I wait (impatiently) for any news about shipping on my Fly More package (ordered 23 January), it occurred to me that there may be concerns about temperature tolerance of the included batteries. It's currently -22 here, and I doubt that the UPS and FedEx semis and trucks used for local deliveries heat their cargo compartments.
Hopefully, it'll be a little warmer by the time my order ships and/or the batteries can tolerate subzero temperatures without damage.

Ordered 23rd?

Poor you.

Yeah, with that order date and Chinese New Year it'll be late march before it's out with FedEx unfortunately.

Although I would assume those temperature ranges for the batteries are geared more towards operating conditions. I'd let them sit for hours and get closer to room temp if they were delivered that cold.

I know the delivery trucks aren't heated or cooled, but I don't think the plane cargo area is either.

Good point. It's colder at 30,000 feet than here and it takes 8-10 hours to fly across the Pacific....
