After flying this weekend I was home removing the SD card and noticed the drone was rattling. on further investigation small black tubular particles about 1/8th inch long began to fall out of the drone. It was performing fine with no error messages and I have not experienced a crash or hard landing. Was wondering if any other Mav 2 Zoom pilots have experienced the same. I contacted DJI support , shipping it back for inspection today.

Thanks

Got a photo so we can see what you're describing?

Good luck. They should give you a new one if its under warranty.

Tubular...or cylindrical?
Tubular means a hole in the middle, cylindrical would be solid.

It they are tubular they might be wire insulation stripped off in the manufacturing process (or small pieces of heat shrink tubing) and inadvertently left in the drone; if so no worries unless they get caught in a fan...

The closer I look at the pieces, the more it looks like wire insulation. I would send it back without even turning it on. If a wire lost its insulation, its an accident waiting to happen.
