Today I learned that geese after they are startled they tend to circle back coming in from the side. This one goose was actually flying upside down to avoid my Mavic. Boy I am glad the goose was so agile. No harm done. 7 consecutive frames from a 30 fps shot. Happened very quickly.

Woa. I never knew they could do that. I would hate to walk in that field. What state? They will be headed up here in another month.

The trouble is they aren't very agile - quite clumsy flyers which is not surprising considering their size.
They also have aggressive streak and will deliberately try to intimidate the intruder.
Used to use my Phanom One to scare them off fields especially by this time of year the mess the ever-increasing numbers leave is horrific and contaminates grazing.
After seeing the way they attacked the P1 I didn't try it with any quads with delicate gimbals.
