Hello!

I was searching the web for statistics on how many models for particular manufacturer were sold until now. I've come across droneii.com website but its articles are mostly behind pay wall. There is also this page from FAA which mentions that there are approx. 1.5M drones registered in the USA alone. But I can't find any more detailed statistics on their site. I would be interested in the following:

• statistics mostly for high quality drone manufacturers, such as DJI/Parrot/Yuneec/Skydio
• number of drones sold/active by model (e.g. Mavic 2 Pro/Yuneec H520, etc.) for each manufacturer;
• statistics on those numbers by continents/regions/countries;

Does anyone know a good quality source for this kind of information?

I would think that information would only be available through the manufacturers, because when you register with the FCC you register the operator, not the AC. With the exception of part 107, where you do register the AC.

I see, as DJI is a private company, they are unfortunately not obliged to disclose any information pertaining sales numbers.
