Very Bright Displays for DJI Drones

I use the Tripltek 8" pro. 1000 nit, works with every drone I own. Downside is the one I have is an older version of Android but it all still works perfectly.
I have the Tripltek 8 Pro, as well and love it. This device is to be used as a dedicated device.

What I mean is that the fact its on an "older" version of Android (and being restricted of updating by Tripltek) is a positive thing. Have you seen all the posts about phones getting updates and then suddenly the fly app is incompatible for a couple days until they update it?? By staying on this older version we NEVER have issues with ridiculous nonsense "updates." Its 100% by design, as well. +1

Yes, for sure, take a look at the 7 and 10 inch monitor screens from Feel World monitors, they are 2,400 NITS of brightness but are just monitors. I use one with my S.C. and connect it to the HDMI plug and set it up as showing just what the camera is seeing. They are low cost too at around $235. I got an open box for $179. Feel World has been used in video and photography for years, for outside location work and monitoring of the camera view.

A guy on ebay was making mounts for $40 3D printing them. The Scandinavia mount maker (Thor, I think?) also has a mount for it, but at over $100. though excellent quality. Wearing a black T-Shirt also helps to reduce reflection off the screen. And like it or not, that umbrella hat, painted black inside would be perfect, other than in windy conditions.

You could always wear a backpack and strap a large golf umbrella to the straps to hold it in place, and again, paint the undersurface black.
I'm a newbie, bought the original Mavic Pro in 2017, but never did much flying. I have a Mini 3 Pro coming and I'm looking for a screen. Your setup sounds interesting, but I'm not sure what the S.C. stands for and its probably obvious.

I found sun on my phone screen a huge PITA when I started flying so much so I changed my old phone for a much brighter one what I didn't know at the time was they have a safety feature that stops them getting too hot so they only stay on maximum brightness for a short time, i kind of wasted my money as a flying aid but not as an upgrade for the old phone, in the end I got one of the shades below and it helped a lot well worth the price.
