I set my Mavic Pro on my coffee table to check some settings. I fired everything up. The gimbal clamp was off. After only about 5 minutes or so I got a system warning that the core was overheated. Battery info all read N/A. I shut it down and was surprised at just how hot the bottom of Mavic...
This is a still grab from a video. The Mavic was hovering smoothly at the time. It's easy to see what I call the painted look of the trees and willows across the canal.
I shot this at 1920 x 1080 @ 23.976fps. I don't know how to find the actual shutter speed, but as I said above, it would be...
I'm flying a Mavic Pro. I shoot using 1920x1080 @ 24fps. I'ts almost always sunny when I fly so I use a ND32 Pgytech filter keeping the shutter speed as close to 50 as possible
All my videos look like the scenery has been painted, smudged. I fly around a lot of pine trees and they look like they...
Both my laptop and desktop computers are a few years old. I run Lightroom and Photoshop on both but they can’t seem to handle Davinci Resolve. The playback is just too slow and jerky for me to accurately analyze my video. I’ve tried various video settings to rule out a 4K overload issue. Any...
I agree with Kilrah’s response above. Since the aperture is fixed and the ISO is essentially fixed at 100 for the least noise, you will have a limited range of shutter speeds for correct exposure whether or not you have a ND filter on the camera. Do a search for night photos on this site and...
For those not familiar with the characteristics of polarizer filters the previous video would be helpful. However a valuable bit of information left out of the video (and surprising not mentioned in this thread at all) is that the polarizing effect is at its peak when the camera is pointed 90°...
I bought a set of DJI ND filters. (no 32 in the set) My problem with them was they came in a flexible foam case and I broke the glass by stuffing them into an over-filled Mavic soft case.
I had my Mavic climb to maximum elevation totally out of my control. It was apparently affected by being pointed directly at the sun, low in the sky. I was panicked and using only the elevation stick to regain control. As soon as I turned it away from the sun, I regained control.
