YES....I did not. However, I haven't NOT read the manual.

I read cover to cover several times. At least 3. Plus some sections another couple of times, like that incredible poorly written about RTH. And, yet, watched a ton of YT videos PRIOR to my first flight. 530+ flights until now, without any problems.

I printed it out and have read half a dozen times. At least 3 of them were before I purchased and then while I was waiting for my drone to arrive. I'll "Ace" the written test, but not so much on the driver's test.

I didn’t at first but after flying I realized that I could benefit from reading it. Now I frequently refer back to it.

Yes, multiple times, with a yellow highlighter -- and it has its own pouch in the backpack in which I carry all my equipment.

I always launch with a "Failsafe RTH" procedure that includes ALWAYS using a brightly-colored "helipad" that has been affixed to the ground.

If ever I lost my aircraft due to pilot error, I would be unable to forgive myself and would therefore, as a penance, have to give up the sport.
