Hi all,

Very new to drone flying, just bought in at the bottom level with a DJI Mini SE, but keen to learn more and upgrade.

Adelaide presents some challenges though, with two airports covering the majority of the city's metropolitan area, but the size of the mini helps get a bit more access.

Just ask, and the experts are great on providing good quality feedback for you to use... Remember to always Fly Safe and Fly Smart and keep it in VLOS (visual line of sight).

Plenty of Adelaide / South Oz pilots on here too.

No trouble at all flying most of our metro areas with the Adelaide and Parafield / Edinburgh airports, just observing the airspace regs as per CASA rules on those airspaces.

Post up a thread in the Australia forum section if you need and info on CASA rules, or the many apps to show you where it’s ok to fly (I mainly use 2 of those.)
In that forum section you’ll probably find the Adelaide pilots thread a little way down the listings, ok to ask there too.
