Mavic Pro Gimbal Problems

Problem? Mavic Pro gimbal spazzes out upon startup

Was unit in a crash? Yes, 1 month ago, but flew fine for a month

What have you tried so far? calibration, factory reset, replaced gimbal with this part (Sign in or Register | eBay)

What device are you using ( iphone , ipad, Samsung , etc)? iphone

What firmware are you running ( aircraft, remote controller)? the newest (v01.04.0400 I think)

What Go app version are you using? 4.3.0

Any modification? (if so what) none, I have used filters before (NEEWER and PGYTECH)

Did you change anything or install any apps? (if so what) no

Do you have a video or pictures of the problem? (if so post link) Mavic Pro gimbal problems (more in comments) : drones

Mine waits until it's flying and does it randomly (as do others as I've read). I received no fix suggestions.

You got a free month. It could be your gimbal ribbon.

The ribbon was included in the gimbal replacement I bought. Should I still try and get a new one?

Yes. The ribbons they give you are trash

Hey man, so the gimbal works now. Thank you so much. However I get a VPS error when starting the drone now. I've cleaned the silicon (or whatever they cover the connections with) to try and get a better connection from the sensors to the board, but it doesn't help. Do you have any suggestions?

I really appreciate your help.
