Well, UPS is going to make me wait another day. Original tracking said today but when I checked late last night it’s been moved to Thursday. Looks like there wasn’t room on the plane.

Learned moments ago... Order paced 5/2 with DJI. Shipped 5/12. Notice/status say partial shipment. Battery bag, 3 memory cards, MA2 fly more. Only thing not shipped; DJI Care Refresh. UPS tracking # provided for first shipment, but it doesn't register, but it was less than an hour ago, which is typical. Does UPS ship direct from China? I heard DJI ships expedited, and typically takes 7 days, even with customs.

Someone said DJI only ships DHL. Not the case here. I ordered direct with DJI, and I can track via UPS. It will arrive Friday 5/15. UPS shows the order originating shipment from Gardena, CA, USA. This is all a pleasant surprise. I had been under the impression DJI shipped solely from China.

I haven’t ordered mine yet... probably not until July... hopefully all the shipping issues will be resolved by then. In the meantime I’m learning a lot about all the shipping options through this post. Thanks!

Don’t feel bad....FedEx has been treating my package like a dirty diaper that needs to be changed. After getting the shipping notification from Fresno, California last Friday for delivery by 9 PM last Saturday, FedEx didn’t bother to pick it up until Sunday evening at 5:30 PM. Oh well… at least the package is still scheduled for Monday the 11th. By Monday it had reached Walnut, California, but I noticed it wasn’t budging from that place either. Sure enough.....was delayed again till Tuesday by 9 PM. All day Tuesday I noticed it hadn’t budged again, and by the end of the day I knew it wasn’t coming on Tuesday either.

FedEx now says it’s going to be delivered between 9 AM and 12 PM today....I’m not holding my breath. Did I mention how much I hate FedEx?

If I’m to believe the latest lie from UPS the package is in Portland. Just got here this afternoon from California so that should mean delivery tomorrow. The good news is that weather should be better tomorrow.

Had my first flight. Was dark but flew great. Flew for about 7 minutes and landed at 77% battery. So seem to get about 30 minutes if I used the whole battery. Missed the RTH spot by about 5 feet. But that could be mainly b/c of dark conditions.

I love the new remote. I usually fly R/C with a Taranis or Spektrum Dx9. So I'm used to a larger transmitter. This is a nice medium. Now if DJI would only make a remote with the gimble wheel and what not in a position ideal for pinchers.
