An "Explosion" of Wallabies

If you've never seen a mob of wallabies (yes, that's what a group of wallabies and kangaroos is called), here's a 360 photo of a group of them foraging in a field outside Cairns, Australia. Looks like a bomb went off and wallaby shrapnel went everywhere. The great thing about the Mavic is that you can get right over their heads and they don't take much notice at all, allowing for interesting shots like this.

Hehe been wanting to fly over there and do the same!! I thought council had got the permission to move them on???
 
How high where you to get it like that ?

Thanks Lisa, I'm sure I have read a more recent report that progress was being made in that regard. (moving them to a safe haven) Especially when they started getting shot a few weeks ago.
Did you take those photo's today??? If so you did a good job of dodging the rain!! No flying atm!!!
 
very cool. love the 'mob'! Now we want to see a crocodile up close :)
 
Hey Lisa, FYI they fenced the whole highway side, so that stops them getting on the road.
But still no reslove to actually moving them on, as development encroaches.
