Mavic Air Battery firmware update

Do my new Mavic Air batteries need firmware updates ? If so, how do I do it. I have the flymore package with three batteries and the hub.

If the current battery needs to be updated, you'll see a message like this in DJI GO. Each battery needs to be updated individually, so you'll have to do the update multiple times if more than one battery is running old firmware.

I don't think any firmware updates for the batteries. There would be mention in the release notes if this were the case.

The firmware updates the battery when you plug it in. I did mine using the remote and drone (didn't use DJI Assistant 2) over WiFi and then after it completed, put in the first battery ... it warned of an incompatibility issue, then had me slide a button for update, which started at 44% and was very quick. After, I inserted my third and final battery and the same exact thing happened.

I also saw someone in Indonesia lose his drone with that same incompatibility message and it was a total wreck.
