Mini 4

Hello from Michigan.

So if I buy an iPad Mini 4 Wifi only to fly my Pro 2 what are the downfalls besides having to do updates only when connected to Wifi? Best Buy has the 128GB for $250 right now - seems pretty tough to pass up. Thanks in advance - Mike.

You will have to cache maps while in Wifi or start a mobile hotspot on your phone to get the maps. The Mini 4 is starting to be a bit dated so I don't know how future-proof it will be but it still gets the job done for a lot of people. In my opinion it is really the perfect size for the Mavic series.

I have the mini 4 and use it only for flying. It seems the perfect size for the Mavic 2 controller. I bought mine refurbished but that Best Buy price is a good one for a 128. In terms of updating maps, I just fire it up on my home wifi and take care of that and any other updates before I go fly.
