Hey there. I lived in West Palm for about 11 years. I live in Naples, FL now. Been Flying and learning alot over the last 3 years. I've been reading the FAAs study guide (intermittently) to gain knowledge and possibly get a 107 license, just to have it, even though I'll probably just fly recreationally most, if not all, the time. But who knows, with a license I may be able to pick up a few jobs. Wedding and Realestate filming sounds fun. Welcome to the Forum.Hey All from West Palm Beach, FL.
I bought my Mavic pro in late 2017 and I’m just a recreational pilot but I go through phases just before a vacation or Bowhunting trip that I try to get back up to speed.
I leave a mile from Trumps Mar A Largo so it’s a permanent NFZ here but I still get to fly.
I’ve been on in the past but changed my email and lost my post count but appreciate all the help and advise here.
Great forum.

Great images! I'm traveling to Sedona in a few weeks. Are there a lot of drone restrictions in the red rock areas? I'll be attempting to fly my Mavic 3.Beware the federal wilderness areas around Sedona. All the major landmarks are included. Can’t fly below 2000’ or land/ TO in them.
Here’s some of what I could get;
Flying Sedona Winter 2020 - Coffee Pot Rock
This one is not as stable as I prefer. Low level winds and gusts around the rocks were a challenge. You can see it buffeting the drone at the end (last 20 sec or so) while landing. Worth it! I love the red rocks. Amazing colors! The video also shows Chimney Rock from the previous video in the...mavicpilots.com
Flying Sedona Winter 2020 - Cathedral Rock at Sunset
Been traveling and hiking. still editing Red Rock Videos from the Sedona trip. Here's one on Cathedral Rock. I was rapidly losing daylight... Hope you enjoy it or get inspired. Love the area!mavicpilots.com
Flying Sedona Winter 2020 - Devil's Kitchen & Seven Sacred Pools
This is the last of my videos from Sedona in 2020. Devil's Kitchen is one of the largest sinkholes in Arizona. It is still active. Sorry, I was pressed for time and low on batteries so Devil's Kitchen is still images in the video only....maybe next trip. The Seven Pools is a cascading series of...mavicpilots.com
Flying Sedona Winter 2020 - Chimney Rock in the Wind
This is the second in a series from Sedona. The red rock pillar is called Chimney Rock. Winds were a bit high during filming, but this created incredible shadow play on the ground. Also, as you'll see in the vid, there are actually 3 tall slender rocks in the formation. Hope you enjoy the video.mavicpilots.com
