Hey All from West Palm Beach, FL.

I bought my Mavic pro in late 2017 and I’m just a recreational pilot but I go through phases just before a vacation or Bowhunting trip that I try to get back up to speed.

I leave a mile from Trumps Mar A Largo so it’s a permanent NFZ here but I still get to fly.

I’ve been on in the past but changed my email and lost my post count but appreciate all the help and advise here.

Beware the federal wilderness areas around Sedona. All the major landmarks are included. Can’t fly below 2000’ or land/ TO in them.
Here’s some of what I could get;

Flying Sedona Winter 2020 - Coffee Pot Rock

This one is not as stable as I prefer. Low level winds and gusts around the rocks were a challenge. You can see it buffeting the drone at the end (last 20 sec or so) while landing. Worth it! I love the red rocks. Amazing colors! The video also shows Chimney Rock from the previous video in the...

This is the second in a series from Sedona. The red rock pillar is called Chimney Rock. Winds were a bit high during filming, but this created incredible shadow play on the ground. Also, as you'll see in the vid, there are actually 3 tall slender rocks in the formation. Hope you enjoy the video.

There is a huge cave on the trail past the Seven Sacred Pools about 1.5 miles then continuing off the main trail to the north for a mile or so. Soldier Pass Cave.
