“No interest “ IMO is an excuse akin to plausible deniability. Perhaps the possibility that third party apps take away total control from DJI whose corporate culture has been ingrained from being based within an authoritarian country.

Because DJI deemed it so. DJI does only what is in DJI's interest. Unless it is in DJI's interest to let others make money off of their platforms, it won't happen.
