Hello All Mavic Pros!
Here are stats my after flying this bird that looks like a crab for a week...
# of flights: 34
# of flights returned to my 14x20 cardboard landing pad with x on it. 30
Total Distance: 207236 ft
Total flight time: 4 hrs 36 min
Top Total Distance in 1 flight: 26121 ft
Farthest distance from controller: 12258 ft.
Top Speed: 41 Mph
Growth of Value (Whatever that means?) 96386 LV16
# of Litchi Waypoint flights: 2
#of Youtube tutorial and experience videos watched 25+
# of forum posts read: 100+
# of manuals read: 1
AND THE BOTTOM LINE
# of crashes 0
Thanks to all who post on these forums and post videos of tutorials on youtube. It is because of you that my crash count is zero.
Here are a few lessons I learned:
Avoid both sticks up in sports mode: Causes battery overcharge alert
Fly 1st into the wind so return is faster
If the controller says its time to come home, then its time to come home.
RTFM
Start out with fully charged battery, controller, phone
Drones are not allowed in National Parks like Valley Forge. (unless you join their RC club with special permit)
Hope to chat with you all,
Jack
