Do windsurfers count as a mod?

Yes as they are not part of the stock set up. Better known as parabolic extenders. A couple of members have placed on the modded section of the board using them.

Just got my MA & once I hit the 5239ft or 1597m mark I turned. I think I’ll go back out in a bit for a longer run since I’m stock and think I can get that 2000m mark :0)

Are all the max runs from the home point to farthest out or the whole trip?

Yes, the max range to get on the board is from home point to the farthest point before RTH. Keep pushing it and you may have a chance to place.

I updated my last flight that was a little bit further in this post instead of posting again as I hit about 2334 meters

Gave it another go and got the weak knees syndrome right after getting that weak signal alarm followed by a loss of
RC & black screen so I turned back at about 1.45 miles!

Next will be a 1.75-2 Miles attempt

Next will be a 2 Miles attempt for sure!

Flight was good with no screen drop outs, just a few blips of video delay but pretty clean! Battery was my limiting factor today in this location. Finding that perfect area is the key for sure

Yes, and I noticed you increased your altitude as well. Of course this is always helpful with range depending on your location with interference and obstructions.

Yup, on my 2 mile run I landed just at 20% battery which was too close for my comfort as I could have kept going in that area as well! I’m glad I turned back after seeing the 2 mile mark reached

Definitely a rush man and almost exact same on battery left. I got nervous after realizing the wind picked up and not in the right direction on my way back but I love it and will keep trying to go further [emoji1360]

That would get you on the board, so post your SS. Should be 3085M. That qualifies for 19th.

Made a couple of range test flights yesterday. Takeoff from the roof of my residential building (24 meters). No mods, stock controller. 5.8 Ghz.

Consistently got 2.000+ meters which is awesome for such a heavy urban environment.

This is a heavily congested area with tall buildings and heavy WiFi interference in the middle of Caracas' east side.

By the way, the height of both flights is actually from homepoint, and not above ground, since the city skopes upward towards where I was flying. Also, there is no FAA height limit at 400 feet in Venezuela.

I recently got the Titan Control antenna and plan to install it sometime this weekend. Will post data.

Here is my first entry for the Mavic Air. All stock and near perfect environment. Desert landscape (valley), no trees and very little signal interference. Signal was strong all the way out. I just took it out for a spin to see what it would do before the RTH kicked in and when it did I just let it come on back to test the RTH (landed the exact same spot it took off). Came back with 22% still left in the tank, strolled out at 18mph and came back at 28mph.

Went back out and got a little farther but this time RTH kicked in so this is my max at that location. Landed with 34% battery so could have pushed a little farther if signal would have permitted @Long Ranger

Location: Near perfect, pretty flat desert landscape. Mountains to the left are about 1/8th-1/4 mile away

11,090 Ft / 3,380 Meters / 2.1 Miles
