It sure looks like Phantom to me. That is a DJI Phantom.
That would make sense. I have never seen a Phantom flying in person before, and on the video it looked like it was flying faster than 45 mph, which is the listed top speed of the phantom. Someone who used to be stationed at the marine base told me they have two Phantom 4’s so that would explain why it was flying in that direction. It could also very well have been someone else getting videos/pictures of the fog, like I was doing.

Cell phones have pretty much put an end to many conspiracy theories, including visiting aliens, bigfoot, loch-ness monster, yeti, etc.

Since everyone and their dog is walking around with a high-quality digital camera in their pocket all the time, it's pretty difficult to believe that we wouldn't be OVERWHELMED by irrefutable pictures of such things in this day and age, if they existed.

1 Billion+ video cameras on the earth, and we're all still looking at the same ONE picture of the Loch Ness Monster? Really? Yet there are still documentaries being made about the possible existence, because they know there enough gullible kooks out there to give them ratings.

Most reported sighting of "unusual" stuff lasts for a few seconds. Even with your phone in your hand you would be challenged to capture even the most common things. Raise phone, open camera app, click record... try this and time it.

There's a difference between a UFO and a spacecraft. Do I believe people have been things they could not identify? Yes. Is there any true evidence that we have been visited by alien spacecraft? As far as I know, no. The best and most famous cases wound up to have either natural explanations, or were hoaxes.

Is there likely life out there in the universe? Seems likely, but that doesn't mean they have visited here. (There's a big distance problem). I also doubt if aliens would mount a tremendously expensive and long mission to get here to scare two fisherman in Mississippi. (The typical UFO report.)

Science works on evidence. If there was evidence, there would be no debate because the critics would have been silenced. Government hiding the truth? Not likely. Governments have trouble keeping secrets. There are big leaks all the time. Pentagon Papers anyone? Even the construction of the super secret atomic bomb leaked out. And all the recent domestic spying stuff that became public.

UFOs from outer space?. Show me the incontrovertible evidence. I'll wait.

Nobody has ever found an actual piece of a UFO. That's why I don't believe it.

So billion of planets in the universe but we are the only intelligent species?
So aliens travelled hundreds or thousands of light years to visit earth, but they don't land?

I have to agree with this post. We eat other life forms. We kill our own species, often. We have a long way to go. Don't get me wrong. I love meat, a great source of protein for me. But if you really think about it, to an alien more advanced, maybe, this would seem barbaric.
Maybe a better solution can be offered before we all die of global warming...

Here is a video of a strange white object zooming through the fog that I caught with my Mavic. Wondering if it is some sort of device from a marine base a little ways away from where I was flying, as it was going in that general direction. Very strange! Watch the right side of the screen, you may have to set YouTube to HD to see it. It goes by very fast and it is fairly small, so you may have to watch the video a few times to see it.

EDIT: If you still can’t see it, try a larger screen such as a tablet or laptop. Some people have told me they can’t see it on a phone.
This is stuff I'm taking about! Although it may be a projectile fired but it's too high for that... Very interesting!

A phone does not have high quality long range zoom capabilities at present you would still need a specialist camera setup to capture fast and accurate shots over long range. It's still a tricky process.

It seems to be moving faster than a drone...

The real question would be is there any "public"evidence... And I doubt they would come to scare fisherman that would just be an unfortunate side effect. No intelligent air pilot would burn fuel and expend resources to scare people in a remote location without a clear mission. Those missions are not typically a show of force to fisherman.

When some higher level of something from somewhere out there looks in on us earthlings and discovers how caught up we are in ourselves playing with these toys that can fly to 400 feet for 25 minutes they are just going to fly right on by. Why would they even bother?:p
