That’s not true, there are several posts on dji’s forums where they admit that this is a problem. In 4.1.3 they changed how dji go uses the iPhone cpu to optimize for chip in the iPhone 7 and it’s not working well for earlier hardware. 4.1.4 and then 4.1.5 was supposed to address this, not sure it did. 4.1.3 is also the version they removed the setting to disable hardware decoding, so it’s always on and over using the cpu. I tested and flew yesterday with 4.1.3 and got the error pretty fast on my iPhone 6, but my
air 2 doesn’t exhibit it. I rolled back to 4.10 dji go and never once got the message.
Hers what I shared on dji’s forums as a summary of statements
this is a bug in DJI Go 4.
Mobile device CPU fully loaded. Related performance will be affected.
DJI Mindy states,
"Hi All, the response in 47# is from our R&D engineer. It's a new feature to detect the CPU usage of mobile device. The criteria for "fully loaded" for current version DJI GO 4.1.2 is quite easy to reach and it will be revised at next release. Appreciate your patience and understanding."
and
"The post on 153# is from our R&D engineer, we have been aware of this issue and is working on it, your patience would be highly appreciated."
and
"Sorry for the trouble caused, our engineers are working on it, and the new version APP will be released very soon, appreciate your patience."
and
"I cannot provide the date because we have no idea either. It's just a reminder, please put the RC and mobile device in shade place during flight."
